Experienced in 12+ Food Sectors including various food ingredients, bakery, confectionery, dairy, chilled & frozen, ready to eat/reheat, heat processing, soups, sauces and various cultural foods, poultry & red meat slaughter and processing, ambient stable foods, cereals, fats & oils, vitamins & supplements as well as fully competent in Level 4 HACCP & Food Hygiene and the latest Environmental and Ethical Standards.
A lead auditor and able to complete various auditing and mentoring for SALSA, LabCred, BRCGS, ISO standards and soon to be approved for BRCGS Food & BRCGS Storage & Distribution.
Baking has always been a part of my life, from 13years of age. A life as a professional foodie was always going to happen.
After completing a bakery diploma in Essex, whilst making celebration cakes by night. I started working in the flour industry working shifts in the laboratory. Later, moving through into bakery problem solving and technical management then for some major companies over the years including Warburton's, Dairy Crest, Pura Foods, Allied Mills & ABP which has enabled me to gain an all-rounded industry experience to start up Accar Food Commit, a food consultancy company for all.
Since those early days, 30+years later successfully having worked in and around the UK food scene for the entire time, I decided to make one final move to Somerset, back near family and the beautiful Somerset surroundings in preparation to realise my dream of having my own business. Life is becoming what I imagined all those years ago and I am now able to help many other foodies just like me to drive and develop safer growth into the food industry.

Being a finalist in the Somerset Business awards under the New Company Start up section was a massive boast to me and shows how valued good quality food consultants are in the local region. This was such an honour and I look forward to applying again for 2022.
Continuing with my BRCGS Professional Status by gaining the 2021 Professional badge which I wear with pride.
